🌿 We did something in Louisiana! In the heart of Louisiana’s chemical corridor, ahead of #WorldEnvironmentDay, our ECOS team had the pleasure of leading a "green chemistry" workshop at Fifth Ward Elementary. The young chemists ranging from grade K-5, created their own room sprays using essential oils, and learned about renewable, non-toxic solutions both in cleaning and every day life. This inspiring event, supported by our very own Kelly Vlahakis-Hanks, the Healthy Living Foundation, David Steinman and Concerned Citizens of St. John, aims to encourage sustainable careers and raise environmental awareness in a community where kids have been heavily impacted. 🔬We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to empower the next generation of green chemists, and to have assisted in the donation of air filters to the school to improve air quality and support student health.
