A week ago, ECR proudly took part as a Hospitality Hole Sponsor for the By Your Grace Inc. Golf Tournament. This nonprofit organization focuses on empowering underprivileged families and children in the Jacksonville community by providing essential resources, educational support, and enriching experiences that inspire hope and create pathways to success. This holiday season, By Your Grace Inc., will use the proceeds from the golf tournament to provide gifts for children attending Long Branch Elementary School, as well as to purchase yearbooks for the school year. At ECR, giving back to our community is one of our core values, so we were especially eager to support this worthy mission. We believe in the power of unity and collaboration to effect positive change, and we strive to strengthen the communities we are a part of. Being involved in such events allows us to contribute meaningfully, ensuring our efforts build brighter futures for those in need. We had a great time at Hole 13, expressing our gratitude and community spirit by serving beverages, delicious food, and great merchandise. A special shout-out goes to Dario Newman and Marquel Brown for preparing a fantastic feast—our hole, without a doubt, had the best food! Thanks to you both! Today, we are thrilled to honor Lee Kopko as he marks an incredible 25 years with JMR! From the very beginning, Lee has been an integral part of JMR’s journey. As a founding member, he brought his extensive expertise as JMR's most knowledgeable inside and outside machinist, ensuring customer satisfaction with an unwavering commitment that's driven JMR’s success since October 1999. Beyond his technical skills, Lee's legacy shines brightly through his leadership. He's been a guiding light to our younger employees, freely sharing his wealth of experience and knowledge, helping them evolve into remarkable professionals in their own right. JMR Operations Manager Erin Snyder reflected on his cherished moments with Lee, stating, "Some of my best memories working with Lee would be when we would work dry docking onboard vessels at different shipyards inside and outside the US. As well as riding different ships from Port to Port. We made a lot of great memories, venturing out and experiencing different cultures along with the sites. A few casinos may have been involved. Somehow, Lee would always come out on top. I know this because he would always rub it in my face and say Sacred Money Can't Win!" Lee personifies living life to its fullest, a quality we all deeply admire and respect. His energetic spirit has inspired many, encouraging us all to loosen up and not take life too seriously.
