GREAT NEWS COMES IN ONE PHONE CALL During the month of October, KXOJ has united with Eden Village to build a tiny home, a home that could mean the difference between surviving and thriving for a homeless person in Tulsa. The $50,000 challenge has been featured on air and on the station’s website. Smaller gifts have come in from gracious givers but the end of the challenge is just days away, October 31st, but encouraging news was just around the corner. THIS JUST IN…Eden Village received a phone call for a matching gift of $22,000 and another for a $5000 match. Gracious donors will match YOUR GIFT doubling its value. The balance is now nearing $35,000 with only $15,000 to go. Things need to come together FAST in order to make a tiny home purchase and get a displaced individual off the streets before the cold nights hit. Please pray about your part. Come on, KXOJ listeners; you better the world in many ways. Here’s an easy opportunity to make a big impact. Your gift will be matched. You can DONATE HERE: https://lnkd.in/g-CYqegP

ONE-YEAR FLASHBACK It’s been exactly one year since the Eden Village groundbreaking ceremony. At that time, the village was nothing but raw land. Now, the infrastructure is in, nine tiny homes have been set in place, nine tiny homes have been stick built, nine homes have been ordered at the factory waiting delivery and the Helmerich Community Center is complete. It’s been 12 months of struggle, overcoming obstacles, seeing progress and now it’s just days away from handing off keys to the first resident. October 2025 will reflect a great second year with stories to tell of changed lives. https://lnkd.in/g3gdbgpi

IF I HAD A HAMMER SGA Design Group called a volunteer day recently and swung their mallets in rhythm to place parking bumpers into the Eden Village parking lot. All this effort, all this donation of the heart, makes it possible to bring those living on the streets into a safe environment.

KXOJ COMMITS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR A TINY HOME When the KXOJ family comes together, something incredible happens…now, they have a chance to create something truly life changing. This October, the station has chosen to unite and build a tiny home at Eden Village—a home that could mean the difference between surviving and thriving for someone in Tulsa. Picture the moment: handing a displaced individual the keys to a home they can finally call their own; a place where they can feel safe, where healing can begin and hope is restored this December, just in time for Christmas. These volunteers won’t be swinging hammers or hanging drywall. Instead, they will be building with their hearts—giving a total of $50,000 in just 31 days. Your generosity can build more than just a home. Together, KXOJ and the Tulsa community can build dignity and futures at Eden Village. Make Tulsa a city where no one sleeps outside.
