Positive Multigenerational Change

About us

Our mission is to educate students who will use their college degrees and careers to enact Positive Multigenerational Change in their communities, nation, and world. Teachers incorporate yearlong themes into their courses to help students understand themselves and the world they want to live in, preparing them to create a Positive Multigenerational Change. - 9th Grade: Know Yourself - 10th Grade: Know Your Community - 11th Grade: Know Your Nation - 12th Grade: Know Your World After graduating, students entering college have a deeply personal purpose for being there, and are positioned to persist through the challenges of a rigorous college environment. We want each student to achieve his or her own college and career goals. Ednovate students will lead social and economic change in their immediate families and communities, and they will make a positive impact in our world at large in their lifetime, which will ripple for generations to come. This week, we welcomed Assemblymember Avelino Valencia to Legacy College Prep in Santa Ana! Assemblymember Valencia had the opportunity to tour our campus, meet with students, and engage in meaningful conversations about the importance of high-quality education in our community. Our students were excited to share their experiences and showcase how Legacy is fostering Positive Multigenerational Change through academic excellence and leadership development. We are grateful for Assemblymember Avelino Valencia's support and commitment to creating pathways for student success in our region. Together, we continue to empower the next generation of leaders! #Ednovate #LegacyCollegePrep

We are deeply grateful to the Joseph Drown Foundation for their continued partnership and generous grant to support Ednovate’s mission of closing the college attainment gap. With their support, we are empowering students to break cycles of poverty, lead their families and communities, and create Positive Multigenerational Change. This past school year alone, we celebrated 99% college acceptance across our network, with four schools achieving 100% acceptance to four-year universities. Thank you for believing in our students and helping us create lasting impact. Together, we are shaping brighter futures! 🌟 #Ednovate #JosephDrownFoundation

Every Halloween, we face haunted houses, spooky corn mazes, and eerie tales that give us a good scare. But here at Ednovate, we are up against some truly frightening challenges every day—and they’re not just for Halloween. Here are three things that spook us out: 1. The College Attainment Gap: Families earning over $100K see 73% of their children graduate with a college degree, while for families earning under $33K, that number drops to just 10%. This stark divide feels like a ghostly barrier that we work to overcome daily through guidance, support, and academic resources. 2. A-G Requirements: In 2023, 68% of Black and 64% of Latino students did not meet the A-G requirements necessary for California State University eligibility, compared to just 26% of Asian students and 48% of White students. These disparities are a haunting reality that limits access to higher education for many students in our communities. 3. Educational Equity: In Los Angeles and Orange Counties, the need for additional support is clear: 1 in 10 students in LA County and 25% in Orange County are English Language Learners. These students need critical resources to reach their full potential and succeed. These are the challenges that keep us up at night.  But thanks to our community of supporters, we are making real progress. At Ednovate, we are tackling these obstacles head-on by providing high-quality resources, dedicated staff, and an education that empowers our students. Our mission to create Positive Multigenerational Change (PMC) is driving these results.  Last school year, we celebrated a graduating class with a 99% college acceptance and 100% meeting A-G requirements. So, no need to be spooked out over here - we are on it! What’s on your spooky list this Halloween season? Let us know! #Ednovate

At Ednovate, we recognize the deep impact of social media on our students. Simply banning phones doesn't address the real challenge—building healthier habits and better engagement with technology. At our schools, we are committed to helping students develop the self-regulation skills they need to thrive in a digital world. Through our innovative, whole-child approach, we are fostering environments where students learn to balance tech use while focusing on academic excellence and personal growth. 🌟 Passionate Leader | Dedicated Educator | Lifelong Learner 🌟

This past Monday, I had the opportunity to present a professional development session on Digital DJing and Music Composition at Ednovate Inc's 2nd Quarter Network PD. It was an absolute blast! The energy in the room was amazing, and it was so rewarding to see teachers fully engaged with the material. Hopefully, they'll be able to take some of the ideas back to their classrooms and schools to inspire students in new and different ways. Big shoutout to Ednovate's network & leadership teams for providing space for "choose your own adventure" style professional development! #Gratitude #MusicEducation #DigitalDJing #ProfessionalDevelopment #TeachingInnovation #EdTech
