For the second year in a row, we are thrilled to share that our EDPR NA team has been recognized with the Best Energy Workplace Award by ALLY Energy’s Grit Awards 2024. ⚡🏆 Additionally, our EDPR NA CEO, Sandhya Ganapathy, received an individual award for her #leadership in the #energy sector – The Executive Award. Special thank you to the Ally Energy team, especially Katie Mehnert, Lindsay Roe, and Kevin McMinn for another fantastic award ceremony and event. Receiving acknowledgment from the #Houston community on the advances we have made on the ED&I front is truly humbling. We still have much to do ahead of us as the broader energy industry, but this week’s GRIT Awards provided a moment to celebrate successes made - and the allyship needed - to continue the impact we are making. #awardceremony #award #bestworkplace #renewables #energytransition #EDPRNA

The ribbon is cut in #NorthCarolina as we celebrate the largest #solar park in the state to date, Misenheimer, bringing a more sustainable energy future to the community of Stanly County! ☀⚡✂ The event brought together our EDPR NA team members, Duke Energy Corporation, the Village of Misenheimer, Pfeiffer University, White Construction LLC, a MasTec Company, Orion Renewable Energy Group LLC, local community leaders, and more than 70 attendees to commemorate the 74-megawatt solar park coming online earlier this year. The solar park yields significantly in the form of payments to #landowners, local spending, and annual community investment. 🙌 The event included a luncheon, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a tour of the solar project with our EDPR NA solar experts. Thank you to Micah Edquist, Mayor Pro Tem of the Village of Misenheimer and Jeff Childress, Special Assistant to the President of Pfeiffer University for providing welcoming remarks and supporting our efforts to bring reliable, affordable energy to Stanly County. We also greatly appreciated the project receiving U.S. Congressional recognition, presented by Justin Shaver on behalf of U.S. Representative Dan Bishop. Lastly, a special thank you to our entire EDPR NA team, the Duke Energy team, and the Village of Misenheimer community for working together to ensure this park’s success. Together, we are building a better tomorrow for all. 🌎 #solarpark #NC #solarenergy #ribboncutting #operational #EDPRNA
