Under the motto “When life gives you lemons, make Batteries,” we participated in last Friday’s European Researcher’s Night in Graz with our lemon battery workshop. For those who couldn’t attend, here’s a quick recap:
The event offered opportunities for young and grown ups alike to explore different stations and expand their knowledge. At our station, we focused on the fascinating topic of “Lemons as a Power Source.” We demonstrated in a fun and interactive way how energy solutions can be created from natural resources like lemons—an engaging and educational experience for everyone. 👨🔬👩🔬
Now, some might wonder what the EFFEREST project has to do with all this... Well, in the EFFEREST project, the focus is on efficient, user-centered energy management systems. While we don't use lemons to generate electricity, we also like to think creatively when it comes to finding eco-friendly, efficient solutions.
A big thank you to everyone who gave us the opportunity to share our love for technology and problem-solving with children, teenagers, and adults. We are proud to have been part of the European Researcher’s Night.
