Recently our Brain Injury Services team met with Senator Angelia Graves and her Chief of Staff, Caroline Willette. They discussed the successes of Beacon House and Case Management, waiting lists, transportation challenges, housing shortages, and the expansion of Case Management Services. They also talked about the challenges of rural areas, some obstacles Eggleston faces surrounding guardianship and financial needs some survivors may face. We appreciate Senator Graves taking to time to meet with us to discuss our Brain Injury Services program, and for all of her helpful suggestions to help solve some unmet needs.

Earlier this month, members from our Brain Injury Services team attended a round table meeting with School Superintendents, health care workers, law enforcement reps, and county administrators from several localities. The local leaders were introduced to Eggleston and learned about the expansion of Case Management services to the 83rd District. Case managers provide guidance, education, and empowerment by linking individuals with community resources, setting up services, and serving as a liaison with other providers.
