Safety First! In this industry, you can NEVER have too much safety training. EKNA Services recently partnered with Proservice to conduct a Fall Protection training for our employees. Not only did we learn a lot about Fall Protection, but we had fun while doing it. There are so many safety training topics out there and we are determined to have the safest crew possible, so we are working our way through them all!

Si Yu'os Ma'åse' to the Guam Department of Agriculture! EKNA Services was so pleased to work on the creation of the Master Agriculture Plan for Guam. We worked closely with the DOAG staff, interviewed farmers and heard their stories, met with members of the Guam Food Cooperative and learned from agricultural non-profit organizations. The hospitality and generosity of spirit we encountered was incredible. We would like to thank the Department of Agriculture staff members for their support. It was so rewarding to work on this project and we hope that we will be able to return to Guam for further collaborations in the future!

EKNA Services Attended the 2024 Hawaii Energy Conference in Kahului, Maui! The HEC was an incredibly educational experience and we are so glad that our company was able to attend this year. The themes of resilience, sustainability and the future of renewable energy were relevant and timely, given the events of the past year in Hawaii. We would also like to give a shout-out to Jacqui Hoover, the conference Chair, who did an incredible job moderating some of the discussion panels. Thanks to everyone involved... it was a very 'illuminating' event!

Spent a gorgeous day at Kualoa Ranch's Secret Island for our most recent company Team Day. If you haven't been there, it's a great place to do some team building (and maybe even a watermelon eating contest!) while soaking up some sun in a stunningly beautiful location. Followed it up with a stop at Waiahole Poi Factory, where we all indulged in their famous Sweet Lady of Waiahole for a sweet ending to the day. Their warm kulolo is a winner!
