EMC's Pump Division recently refurbished this horizontal split case pump rotating assembly for one of our municipal customers. During inspection, EMC captured all critical dimensions needed to manufacture a new pump shaft, new shaft sleeves, sleeve nuts, casing rings, and impeller rings. All manufacturing work was completed by EMC machinists in our machine shop. A new impeller was provided (a brand new casting through an EMC partner), with final machining and balancing performed by EMC. Bearing housings were restored to SAT clearances, and new bearings were installed as well. Before final assembly, the impeller was coated with Belzona 1341 for added performance. #pumprepair #watertreatment www.emc-co.com
