About us
Elemental Advanced Materials creates high quality graphene and hydrogen from nonrecyclable (mixed and contaminated) plastics and tires. Using our patented process we can recycle materials that are destined for the landfill into high value graphene. The single step process is also CO2e neutral.

On Friday, we had the pleasure of celebrating and bidding farewell to our summer intern, James Shea. As James prepares to enter his senior year at Texas A&M University, where he's studying mechanical engineering, we reflect on the valuable contributions he made during his second summer with us at Elemental Advanced Materials, Inc. This summer, James led several R&D projects and was helpful in the commissioning of our full-scale production unit. We wish James all the best as he continues his academic journey and beyond! #aggies #graphene #intern #carbon

https://lnkd.in/gH5dJisK 🌍♻️ Turning Plastic Waste into Decarbonizing Innovation! 🌱🔋 Did you know? In 2021 alone, Coke, Pepsi, and the bottled water industry produced staggering amounts of plastic waste, totaling millions of tons. But here's the catch: 85% of this plastic can take up to 1,000 years to degrade, contributing significantly to environmental pollution. As these plastics decompose; they break down to Methane which at minimum is 26X CO2e. At Elemental Advanced Materials (EAM), we're on a mission to revolutionize waste management. Our breakthrough CO2e-neutral process transforms plastic waste into high-quality Graphene. This wonder material powers smaller, more efficient batteries and supercapacitors, strengthens plastics and composites, and even enhances concrete durability – all of which contribute to lowering CO2 emissions. By harnessing innovation, we're not just reducing plastic pollution; we're actively combating CO2 emissions and paving the way towards a sustainable future. 🌍 Join us in making a difference today! 1. Great article in this morning's The Washington Post highlighting a reduction in federal tax credits on electric vehicles whose batteries and their components are sourced from China. As demand for electric vehicles continues to grow, it's imperative that domestic solutions for batteries and the critical minerals used to manufacture them are developed. Elemental Advanced Materials, Inc. is excited to play a critical role in this by producing ultra high purity graphene and other carbon nanomaterials derived from waste plastic and carbon containing gasses. #criticalminerals #graphene #batteries #lithiumionbatteries #plastic #nanomaterials #carbon #decarbonization #sustainability https://lnkd.in/gSytKGJY
