Their innovative approach is making geothermal heating and cooling more accessible, affordable, and scalable than ever before. We’re thrilled to share that Bedrock Energy has recently raised $12 million in Series A funding, enabling them to grow their team and expand their efforts in Colorado and Utah. We began partnering with the Bedrock and their CEO, Joselyn Lai, team last year through Cohort 12, and we can’t wait to see how they continue to revolutionize energy systems, reduce emissions, and create a more sustainable future!

From North Dakota to Louisiana: Carbon removal facilities creating clean energy jobs! Excited to announce our portfolio company Origen has secured $13M in Series A funding to deploy their carbon removal technology in communities across America. What's happening on the ground? 🔵 Partnership with Energy & Environmental Research Center to build a 1,000-tonne demonstration facility in North Dakota. 🔵 Collaboration with Shell and Mitsubishi Corporation on the Pelican Gulf Coast project in Louisiana - set to be the largest direct air capture facility in the U.S., removing 50,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually. The technology behind these projects? A breakthrough approach using limestone's natural properties to capture CO₂ from the air. It's simple, scalable, and uses materials already abundant in these regions. We're proud to support Origen alongside Barclays Climate Ventures, Shell Ventures, Exascale Fund, and Mac Hatch as we build the infrastructure for a cleaner future - creating local jobs and economic opportunities along the way.

We thrilled to announce our portfolio company, HIVED, successful completion of their reusable packaging pilot in collaboration with meal-delivery service field doctor. and Oakland International Limited to tackle ecommerce packaging waste!
