So that’s exactly what we’ve developed. Eleo is a product of Community Software Solutions, Inc. (CSS), a company whose specialized software has supported the social programs of numerous nonprofits and governmental organizations since 1991. Eleo grew out of CSS founder and CEO Mark Grossman’s commitment to supporting the vital role nonprofits play in our society. Mark realized the company’s data management and tracking technologies could be applied to provide nonprofits large and small with useful, niche-specific, user-friendly tools to help them make the most of their donor cultivation and fundraising efforts. The AFP Foundation for Philanthropy and GivingTuesday have announced a new governance structure and strategic vision for the Fundraising Effectiveness Project (FEP), following two years of research and development. The updated governance model includes a dynamic Steering Committee led by experts from across the nonprofit and fundraising sectors, such as newly appointed Chair Tim Sarrantonio. The first major initiative under this new structure is the development of a 3-year strategic plan, set to debut at AFP ICON 2025 in Seattle.
