Elevate MRO recently completed the first and only full wing replacement on a Honda Aircraft Company HA-420 #Hondajet. Honda Aircraft Company Test Pilots completed their final test flight yesterday and we are very pleased to announce, there were ZERO squawks. From here this beautiful #aircraft heads to paint and then back to the customer. This aircraft recovery was a massive undertaking and it required all hands on deck. Through swift leadership by Jim Slack and Chad Walker, the project was underway. Normally, a wing replacement at this level is often times conducted back at the OEM but with proper #support from the #OEM, we were able to successfully complete the replacement and return a #safe and #airworthy aircraft back to the customer. With a project this large, we wanted to walk you through the major milestones of the project with the pictures in this post. This entire project is a testament to the immense skill, determination, safety focus and dedication to customer service by Elevate MRO. Elevate MRO is excited to announce the opening of its new aircraft maintenance center at Broomfield’s Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (KBJC) supporting the Denver metro area and the surrounding resort destinations.
