Customize your resume for EVERY role…..which is just a magnificent and maddening guessing game at best.     My approach to recruiting: HR role in central US 2 days in total - 4.5 hours spent Sources: Sourcing online, Network, Referrals, LinkedIn & LinkedIn job post 32 candidates -23 connected 4 interviews scheduled Zero recruiting spend 100% responded to. More importantly, here’s a version of the message 28 of them received: ——————————————————— Thank you for your interest in BLANK position for our client in BLANK , BLANK. Unfortunately, based on the screening answers you've supplied, along with the must have qualifications for this customer, you were not selected to move forward in the hiring process at this time. The specific feedback was that compared to other local candidates, your years with front line face to face HR management, while impressive, was not a match for their BLANK environment. Please do not let this decision reflect on the value of your experience, even though this specific role was not a match for you, your experience IS a match for another opportunity. This job market has been difficult for candidates, we recognize that and how job seeking is a full-time endeavor, usually without any feedback or being even being ghosted.
