Designed to do more.
About us
At Elevatus, we’re #DesignedToDoMore. What's that mean? Well, we develop architectural solutions, primarily and specifically within the justice, education, retail, government, and community sectors. But while our portfolio is robust and we've won plenty of recognition for our work, there's a lot more to us than just design. We're guided by five pillars: excellence, commitment, integrity, honor, and innovation. We believe in working hard and giving each project everything we've got. We're driven to do the right thing, even when it's tough. We're problem solvers who create solutions for today and tomorrow with creativity and imagination. We're relationship builders who listen, share, and check in, through the project and well beyond. Why do we do all of this? Because designing a building means more when you do it for a friend.

On Monday, Education architects Sam Schaust and Emily Hower from Elevatus Architecture’s Education Team visited Mrs. Marcy Blundall's Career Exploration class at Homestead High School to discuss the many facets of a career in architecture. Elevatus is dedicated to fostering mentorship and investing in our community’s youth, knowing the value of early career exploration and the impact it can have on future architects. We are always grateful for the opportunity to speak with students at schools! #DesignedToDoMore

At South Adams High School, Elevatus was entrusted with revitalizing the tennis courts that serve not only the school but the entire community — a hub where everyone can play, learn, and connect. Years of heavy use had led to significant, unsafe cracking, requiring more than a simple repair. Our project team excavated down to the subsoil, addressed foundational issues with a full soil remediation, and rebuilt the courts layer by layer with durability in mind, from fresh gravel to the new asphalt surface. The enhancements didn’t stop there: we added California corners for optimized drainage and easier maintenance, and enclosed the courts with a durable, vinyl-coated fence for added safety and style. These courts are now ready for safe play, rain or shine, for years to come – for the Starfires, for the annual Swiss Days Tournament, or other play! Our firm was honored to create a resilient, lasting space for everyone who calls this community home. That's #DesignedToDoMore.
