"Homelessness: Reframed" is now on display at Saatchi Gallery through September 20th. This deeply impactful exhibit employs art and storytelling to amplify the voices of individuals who have experienced homelessness. Eleven Eleven Foundation is proud to have partnered with the team at The Royal Foundation's Homewards Program and Saatchi Gallery on this meaningful project.
Hugely pleased to have attended the opening of 'Homelessness: Reframed', created by The Royal Foundation's Homewards programme in partnership with Saatchi Gallery and Eleven Eleven Foundation. The exhibition brings to life the breadth and complexities of homelessness across the country. It features work from artists in the UK and beyond which are inspired by their own or others' experiences of homelessness alongside artwork created by children and young people in the six flagship Homewards locations. The artwork includes brand new pieces from the likes of Rankin, Opake, and Simone Brewster. As I said on the night, huge thanks to all the artists and contributors for so generously and courageously sharing their stories in order to help all of society better understand homelessness. And of course huge thanks to our partners and the team - Katie Heywood, Brogan Campbell and all involved - for their work and support in making it possible. The exhibition is open until 20th September and entry is free. I'd strongly encourage all to visit if they can!
