The ELFA Annual Convention is in full swing, and more than 1,155 equipment finance professionals (the largest turnout in 20 years!) are gathered in Austin, Texas to bring their careers, their businesses and our industry to the next level. · Sunday kicked off with the new member and welcome receptions, where attendees networked and made new connections. · On Monday morning, ELFA Board Chair Robert Boyer, CLFP presented an update on the association, outlining a "pipeline of new initiatives" designed to bring even more value to our members. Rob and ELFA President & CEO Leigh Lytle then presented the Michael J. Fleming Distinguished Service Award to Donna Yanuzzi, EVP. Next, Peter Zeihan took the stage with an energizing keynote on shifting global demographics and their impact on economics and politics, followed by a lively Q&A with Rob. · The morning’s breakout sessions covered everything from market expansion strategies to the global supply chain, legal insights, and data integrity. · At the Foundation luncheon, Executive Director Kelli Nienaber and Chair Zack Marsh, CLFP shared exciting updates about the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation, followed by an inspiring fireside chat on leadership with Oscar Munoz and ELFA President & CEO Leigh Lytle. · Meanwhile, the Exhibit Hall is packed with forward-looking solution providers, and The Hub is hosting HubTalks and TechTalks. NEW RELEASE 🚨 : The September CapEx Finance Index (CFI), formerly the Monthly Leasing and Finance Index, reveals that new business volume among surveyed ELFA member companies grew by $10.0 billion from August to September, a monthly increase of 2.2% before rounding. Commenting on the results, Ricardo Rios, CFA, CLFP, President & COO, Commercial Equipment Finance, Inc., said, “A healthy increase in YOY business volume, especially in August and September, validates our 12-month increase in headcount as we continue strengthening our value proposition for all of CEFI’s stakeholders.
