Regular physical activity, with at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity exercise per week as recommended by WHO, could save € 8 billion in health-care costs annually. In the last couple of years, exergaming has been an innovation that contributes to a more healthy active lifestyle by challenging people to exercise in a fun and active way. Natasja Paulssen, Founder of Dutch Rose Media, talks about exergaming during her keynote at the ELIS Innovation Summit 2024. Het doel van deze innovatiechallenge is om een vorm van beweegactivering te realiseren die eindgebruikers verleidt en faciliteert tot meer benutting van de openbare ruimte voor recreatieve vormen van beweging. De focus ligt daarbij op het in beweging krijgen van doelgroepen die nu nog achterblijven in hun beweeggedrag. 🎯 De innovatiechallenge vindt plaats in het kader van het project ‘Brabanders Bewegen in de Openbare Ruimte’ en maakt onderdeel uit van een subsidie die de Provincie Noord-Brabant verleent. We zetten ons gedurende vier jaar in voor maar liefst 15 Brabantse gemeenten op het gebied van bewegen in de openbare ruimte (BIOR).
