We were pleased to participate in another test run to advance a pilot program integrating the use of CPKC’s hydrogen locomotives into EVR’s steelmaking coal supply chain. #SustainablyDriven
We’ve successfully completed the second test run of our high-horsepower hydrogen locomotive. In early October, CP 1200, along with its dedicated fuel tender CP 10001, helped pull a fully loaded bulk train with 153 gondolas through British Columbia’s Elk Valley region. These tests are gathering operational and performance data to demonstrate the reliability of high-horsepower hydrogen locomotives. More testing is scheduled in the coming weeks. #SustainablyDriven Elk Valley Resources

Check out this story featuring Exploration Geologist Sabrina Sterner from Glencore Canada’s Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations. EVR is proud to be part of Glencore #AtTheCore
Sabrina Sterner’s passion for #geology was inspired by her grandfather, who she used to spend hours with collecting rock samples as a child. 🪨 Today Sabrina is responsible for a team at Glencore Canada’s Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations looking for minerals as far as three kilometres underground. The hope is that they’ll find mineral deposits that could extend mine life or establish new mines for future generations. “Rocks are like puzzles. 🧩 Every rock tells a story, giving clues on how the earth formed and evolved over billions of years,” Sabrina says.
