Board Members in the wild! We love having Kathryn White on our team. With years of nonprofit experience and a heart for Nashville families and children, we couldn’t ask for a better Board Secretary.

New updates to Title IX go into effect August 1. There’s lots of work to still be done but are celebrating wins this week for student parents across the nation!
Effective August 1, student parents can expect a clean safe place to pump (not a bathroom!), access to online education, extensions for coursework, the ability to reschedule exams and more. Thankful for the strides being made for student parents.

🥗 Studies from various sources show that up to 30% of Tennessee college students experience some form of food insecurity. This number runs significantly higher than the national average of 23%. What’s Ella’s House doing to help? Scholar moms can expect basic groceries, weekly family dinners (provided by some seriously good cooks), formula options for babies, and more (Source: Tennessee Higher Education Commission, 2023).
