Studies show.... 🫂 When someone is struggling with thoughts of suicide, often they actually feel a sense of relief if someone asks and shows genuine concern and care. It seems that talking openly about suicide might actually help reduce those thoughts instead of making them worse. 👂 People tend to feel less depressed, less overwhelmed, and more hopeful after talking to someone who listens without judging them. ❣ Helping someone who’s at risk build a network of supportive people and resources can encourage them to take positive steps and feel less hopeless. Journaling and therapy can also be a therapeutic way to process thoughts and emotions. As always, engaging in hobbies that bring you joy, whether it's painting, reading, or gardening, can provide a much-needed mental break from daily stresses. The key is to find activities that you enjoy and that fit into your lifestyle, making it easier to stick with them in the long term.
