We are thrilled to announce our involvement in a new venture: Hall of the Above. Our Founder, Jennifer Jerde, and her architect husband, Daniel Castor are the new tenants of the Sonoma County National Bank building located at 199 Petaluma Blvd N. Vacant for several years, the Bank had become a dusty relic with an enormous FOR RENT sign in the window. Now, after a year of permitting and bootstrapping their way through a gauntlet of unglamorous renovations, we are finally ready to re-open the building as an event venue to the community. The building capacity has grown from 49 people to a new maximum occupancy of 250. Danny has been garnishing the space with geometric sculptures —icosahedra—seen here with Elixir-designed window signage. We've been building a visual language that could endure a hundred years but we've gotta get through the next four years first. Hall of the Above will be Petaluma’s newest event venue, in one of its oldest and grandest spaces. The building will be available for short term rentals or longer engagements, with the support of an in-house team and a list of preferred vendors —including Elixir! Event support, anyone? As the name suggests, the space is flexible enough to be used for a wide range of activities - from birthdays, graduation, and retirement parties, to fundraisers, weddings, corporate events, and catered banquets. Join us for an OPEN HOUSE October 13th, 2pm to 6pm at 199 Petaluma Blvd North! https://lnkd.in/gC3stH5U
