Between 2020-2023 the CPI team was able to reduce improper payment by ~9.3% - equal to ~$800M in improper payments - leveraging these emerging technology strategies. A job well done to our entire Air Force CISO team, led by Mr. Del Harley, CISSP, PMP, who was instrumental in supporting the development and publishing of the latest Department of the Air Force (DAF) Guidance Memorandum (DAFGM) to Air Force Instruction (AFI) 17-10. DAFGM 2024-01 provides policy clarifications on cyber risk management for DAF systems, including Special Access Program (SAP). The DAFGM covers Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation, privacy requirements, and DAF RMF roles and responsibilities. The DAFGM was published on 5 September 2024.
