Are you involved with trauma or emergency services? Doctors Medical Center is offering an Emergency & Trauma Symposium on Friday, Sept. 27 from 8 am - 3:30 pm. The symposium will cover best practices including: new DKA protocols, pre-hospital management of traumatic injuries from head to stomach, the relationship of gunshot energy and the type of wounding, how to be aware of gangs, and trauma nurse processes.
