Popping in as we head into the holiday weekend to wish you all a very Happy (early) Thanksgiving! 🦃 I'd also like to leave you with a few thoughts. 💭 Here are 3️⃣ things I'm thankful for: 1️⃣ Congress. Yes, you read that right! A silver lining. Reading about dysfunction in government shows us what it looks like. We can spot it and do better ourselves. 💡 2️⃣ Small notes of thanks. In meetings or Slack messages or email—it's terrific to see those little "thank yous" about things going well. 👏 3️⃣ The positive attitude of those around me. When I'm having a bad day or find myself stuck in negativity, a colleague's good cheer can bring me around. Remember, your optimism is contagious! 😃 And here are 3️⃣ things I hope for as we start to wrap up 2023: 1️⃣ Balance. The holidays amp up emotions and expectations—good and bad. It would be great to maintain perspective and equilibrium. ⚖ 2️⃣ Small wins. We all like to finish the year with a bang. But that doesn't always happen. I look forward to celebrating any wins, be they small or large. 🏆 3️⃣ Sliding into the New Year. Jan 1 is just a date. An important finish line for taxes and sales numbers, but STILL just a date.
