Everyone has a plan, but then life happens. What then? Where to? EFAA is here to help. We’re building a community where all of our neighbors can meet their basic needs and springboard themselves and their children out of poverty. For over 100 years, EFAA has served as Boulder County’s safety net, working in collaboration with volunteers, donors, partners, and participants. We ensure our community has access to food, housing, and other resources to move toward financial stability and resilience. Because when families thrive, our community is stronger. In recognition of this essential work, we are pleased to debut our new video. In it, you may recognize a few of the many friendly faces of those who make this work possible.

Thank you to all who joined us on Sunday for EFAA's third annual farm-to-table dinner! It was a lovely evening with so many meaningful connections. The wind brought some unexpected excitement 😉 and together, we broke a new EFAA record during the mission appeal. 💛 It would not have been possible without the financial support of our sponsors, Corwin Toyota Boulder, Celestial Seasonings, BOK Financial, and Holland & Hart LLP. Thank you so much for helping to make a meaningful difference in our community! THIS is neighbors helping neighbors!

It's been a little more than a week since our 2nd Annual Friend Fest Event, but we're still on cloud nine. 💛 Thank you to everyone in the community who joined us for this amazing event. Your contributions made it a success in many ways: ✔ Friends new and old learned about EFAA's programs to help our neighbors. ✔351 pounds of personal care items were received for EFAA's food bank ✔ with the help of our generous donor who provided a Double Match, we exceeded our donation goal! EFAA Friend Fest wouldn't have been possible without the financial contributions and in-kind donations of generous individuals and wonderful local businesses. This is truly "Neighbors helping Neighbors" in action. Thank you!

How does EFAA find the more than 1.5 million pounds of food we distribute every year through our food bank? In this issue of EFAA News, we spotlight some of the many people and organizations who make our work possible, including: 📌 Miguel Cerceda of North Wasatch Farms, who was once an EFAA participant and now supplies 180 dozen farm-fresh eggs every week to our food bank 📌 UpRoot Colorado, which organizes gleaning events to gather nutritious, fresh produce from Colorado Farms and orchards leftover after harvest 📌 Volunteers like Kelly Cope Russack – who connects with individuals, and organizations to coordinate food drives, and secure food donations Swipe through to give it a read! ⬇️

Thank you Loft Growth Partners! We are so grateful for your support!
This holiday season Loft Growth Partners was proud to support two terrific organizations on behalf of our team, our Industry Venture Partners, our Limited Partners, our partner companies and the broader CPG emerging brand ecosystem: Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) and Beads of Courage, Inc. (BOC). Boulder’s Emergency Family Assistance Association provides stabilizing services, innovative programs, and transformative advocacy to strengthen families and create a thriving community. EFAA’s food bank helps families, older adults, and people with disabilities access healthy and nutritious foods. Feel free to learn more about EFAA at https://lnkd.in/gmnRgTh6 and even join us in supporting the organization with your time (https://lnkd.in/g7PBt_8f) or donations (https://lnkd.in/gS7igHNs). Beads of Courage is a selection important to Jayden Starke, the daughter of team member Kim Anne Starke. BOC is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and teens coping with serious and chronic illness, their families and the clinicians who care for them through the Arts-in-Medicine Programs. Through its programs, BOC provides the opportunity for COURAGE to be honored, HOPE to be given and JOY to be experienced.
