We had a great turn-out for our workshop "Beyond Problem Solving: Merging Methodologies to Future-Proof Tomorrow" at the NSBE Professional Development Conference in Washington DC. Attendees included participants from Apple, NOAA, Land O'Lakes, Micron Technology, RTX, Dell Technologies, among many others. After discussing how the level of uncertainty in our world along with rapid advances in technology require different leadership and innovation capabilities, teams integrated systems thinking, foresight and design thinking to solve challenges related to housing. We leveraged direct quotes from tenants as well as challenges from leaders at a public housing organization. Teams merged these challenges with current capabilities and trends to develop how might we statements and solutions, then looked at the potential implications of these solutions in the future. This activity is relevant for every industry and organization.
