🚀 Our journey has come to an end, but this is just the beginning of long-lasting cross-regional collaboration 🌍 On December 5th, 2024, we gathered for the  Final Consortium Meeting of the EMPOWEREDbyNEIA initiative at the CTE, Rome, Italy to reflect on our journey and the progress made, and the results achieved. 💡Over the past 12 months, we’ve been dedicated to bringing together key innovation actors driving cleantech innovation across Europe to strengthen regional ecosystems and foster collaboration between Quadruple Helix stakeholders. While the project has officially come to an end,  the knowledge, results, networks, and impact we’ve created will continue to drive innovation and collaboration in the Cleantech sector. 🌟 Our key highlights and achievements:  ✅A comprehensive mapping of regional ecosystems followed by SWOT analysis to identify gaps, opportunities, and best practices to foster cross-regional collaboration between innovation actors. ✅ Organised two Entrepreneurial Discovery Workshops where QH participants from seven different regions in the EU participated to exchange knowledge, identify gaps and  priorities for cross-regional collaboration topics ✅ Delivered impactful outcomes, including the Action Plan and Policy Brief offering a comprehensive roadmap for advancing regional cleantech ecosystems. 💡 Collaboration is the core of our success A huge thank you to our incredible consortium partners who have been making this initiative a success:  🔹 INNOVA - Technology Transfer and Valorisation (Italy) 🔹 Beamline Accelerator (Estonia) 🔹 accent Inkubator GmbH (Austria) 🔹 Małopolska Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego S.A. 🌟 Technology Transfer workshop and networking event 🌟 On December 5th, 2024, the CTE Roma - Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti in Rome hosted a remarkable workshop and networking event under the theme: “Technology Transfer in Italy and Europe: New Challenges and Opportunities”. Organized in collaboration with the EMPOWEREDbyNEIA initiative, the event brought together more than 50 participants from universities, TTOs, SMEs, policymakers, and innovation stakeholders to discuss the critical role of technology transfer in driving innovation and advancing environmental sustainability in Italy and across Europe. 🎯 Event Highlights: 📌 Showcased 5 technology transfer case studies, developed through partnerships between SMEs and universities, illustrating impactful results of effective collaboration. 📌 Discussed the evolution of Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs) in Italy, with insights into governance, best practices, and the holistic role of TTOs in bridging academia and industry. 📌 Focused on green and clean tech sectors as key levers for sustainable urban development and economic growth. 💬 The event featured an engaging roundtable discussion with thoughtful leaders such as: Michela Michilli(Lazio Innova), Valentina Gazzarri (BUGNION SpA), Leonardo Massa (MITO Technology),  Christian Iaione (Luiss Guido Carli University), Vittorio Cesarotti (University of Rome Tor Vergata). The session, expertly moderated by Aleardo Furlani from INNOVA - Technology Transfer and Valorisation, fostered a dynamic exchange of ideas on building ecosystems of continuous learning and collaboration. 🍸 The evening concluded with a networking aperitif, providing an excellent opportunity for participants to connect, share ideas, and strengthen collaborations.
