Held in the historic Tremé neighborhood in New Orleans, BlackAmericana Fest is a celebration of the stories, music and legacies of Black artists. This free festival recognizes the rich musical heritage and contributions of Black artists in the folk, country, and Americana genres, as well as showcasing Black-owned food and art vendors and creating a vibrant and welcoming space for all. The EMR USA team had a great time at this year's festival and we couldn't be more proud to sponsor incredible community events like this. #BlackAmericanaFest #Community

At EMR, safety is our highest priority. We train our people extensively, doing everything in our power to reduce risk of all health and safety issues - including fire risk. But this training and education extends beyond our colleagues, out to the communities in which we operate. We're happy to have been able to continue this work recently, in collaboration with the City of Camden Fire Department. Members of the department, including Chief Flax, enjoyed a tour of our Head Office and EMR Camden, and entered into important discussions about the impact of batteries on the safety of our people and the resulting impact on the local environment. This tour is part of our ongoing effort to maintain a strong working relationship with the department, ensuring they are updated on facility and equipment safety upgrades, as well as the processes and procedures at each location. Thank you, Camden City Fire Department, for your commitment to safety! #firesafety #lithiumionbatteries #camdenfiredepartment #metalrecycling

Today is World Environmental Health Day 🌍 By increasing recycling rates and building a resilient supply of tomorrow’s materials, we help reduce the need for destructive mining and cut unnecessary carbon emissions. We support the natural world’s regeneration, ensuring fresh water, food, and biodiversity can thrive. Through our renewable energy projects, we demonstrate how industrial businesses can implement impactful practices that nurture ecosystems. Innovation is at the core of everything we do. From recycling metal waste to opening new facilities to tackle electric vehicle challenges, we’re transforming today’s materials into tomorrow’s solutions. Together, we can reshape the future, where resources don’t come from the Earth, but from a circular economy that benefits us all. #worldenvironmentalhealthday #circulareconomy #sustainability
