We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Montauk Renewables, Inc., a leader in renewable energy development. Together we will launch an initial pilot leveraging Emvolon's patented technology in a commercial-scale demonstration of recovering and converting biogas from a landfill into green methanol at Montauk's gas production site in Texas. Following the opening of our 5,000 square-foot testing and development facility, this pilot will support Emvolon's goal of commercially scaling green methanol production. Inside Emvolon's 5,000 sqft State-of-The-Art Testing & Development Center At Emvolon, we took a different path. Instead of opting for rented lab space or outsourcing technical development activities, we decided to go bigger. Having proven our technology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and secured a strong patent portfolio, we knew we needed our own space to accelerate our journey toward commercialization. Transforming a 5,000 sqft warehouse into a state-of-the-art testing and development center wasn’t easy. From navigating city permits and collaborating with contractors to ensuring the safe testing and production of carbon-negative fuels, we faced plenty of challenges. We engineered solutions for heat and power management, cooling, ventilation, and emergency safety systems—everything required for large-scale industrial testing. Today, our facility in Woburn, MA, is fully operational, positioning us to scale up faster than ever and bring our carbon-negative fuels to market. As you know, at Emvolon we go 🌱 Beyond Zero Carbon: we produce carbon-negative fuels and chemicals today. By repurposing car engines as cost-effective, modular chemical plants, we convert greenhouse gas emissions into green methanol and green ammonia, helping industries like maritime 🚢, aviation ✈️, energy ⚡, waste management ♻️, and agriculture 🌾power the global economy without emissions.
