What a great way to start 2025! An awesome crowd and energy for our first event of the year. Special thanks to our subject matter experts, Sarah Douglas and Matthew Huddleston, for sharing their insights on how tech transfer leads to successful healthcare businesses - and why being in Cincy for that is so special. A couple of my favorite insights: 1) CincyTech has done 14 tech transfer deals with Cincinnati Children's Innovation Ventures alone! Let alone several other research institutions in the state 2) Enable Injections, Inc. underwent a massive pivot, incorporating feedback from pharma companies to create a much more compelling value proposition. Even more impressive given they were mostly device folks so had to learn the drug development space. Massive thanks to Stacey Barnes, Ashley Anderson, and Emma Scharfenberger Off from CincyTech as well as Jenn Beeson from Enable Injections for their support of our group and this event!
