Don't wait for your manager, or other leaders, to recognize the contributions you can make to #ESG reporting progress and beyond. • Be willing to explore and take on new career roles, even when you don't check the box on every job requirement. • As you advance in your career, reach back and bring others up with you. Be a mentor, be a sponsor, and give back to those coming up behind you.

Earlier this month, it was the 36th anniversary of the Piper Alpha disaster. The tragedy resulted in 167 fatalities and dozens of injuries. The #PiperAlpha disaster is recognized as a turning point in offshore health and safety. In fact, the lessons learned apply to other #OilandGas sectors and high-risk industries as well. Control of Work practices became more prominent in #safety management systems as a result of the accident. This includes robust protocols and effective communication around permit-to-work, shift management, and handovers.
