Endeavor Health's Chef Wes Lieberher and Sous Chef Mynor Garcia were chosen to compete as one of five finalist teams in the 2024 Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF) Culinary Competition. They are competing for the title of National Healthcare Foodservice Culinary Champion in San Antonio, Texas on Aug. 24. Chef Wes Lieberher has opened multiple restaurants and concepts in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Chicago and Berlin, and has been featured on the Food Network multiple times. Sous Chef Mynor Garcia started his cooking journey at Durty Nellie’s as a prep cook and continued his career in senior care. He currently leads a team of 20 cooks as well as inventory staff. Endeavor Health is lucky to have such top talent providing our patients and team members with over 1,400 meals everyday. Good luck, Chefs! 🍽️

Endeavor Health is proud to partner with Exact Sciences and Baylor Scott & White Health as part of the Falcon Registry Study to assess the clinical impact of multi-cancer early detection testing.   “Implementing MCED testing and advancing preventative genomics are crucial steps in addressing the ‘last mile’ problem in health care,” said Peter Hulick, M.D., the Janardan D. Khandekar, M.D., chair of personalized medicine and the director of the Mark R. Neaman Center for Personalized Medicine at Endeavor Health. “The Falcon Registry is a pivotal research study to meet the real-world challenges of implementation and aligns with the broader vision of the Davis Family Center for Preventive Genomics at Endeavor Health, which is to assist patients, their families, and caregivers in making better-informed decisions about early diagnosis, prevention strategies, and personalized treatment options.”

Cision Vision, a medical device company that focuses on medical imaging, will receive up to $22 million from the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Precision Surgical Interventions (PSI) program to develop solutions to a major problem in surgery: critical anatomy visualization. Endeavor Health's Dr. Herbert Mason Hedberg and Dr. Monika Krezalek will be working with CisionVision and other researchers across the country to develop solutions to this challenge.
