Come join us for next week's Community Event on "Navigating the Legal Landscape for Climate Startups and SMBs", sponsored by our friends at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP!
Who wants to come learn about the nuances of "Legal" in Climate Tech next week?! Whether it’s a financing term sheet or your customer’s offtake agreement, legal is too often an afterthought. In reality, legal/compliance is actually one of the most important things to get right, at every stage of building your climate company. So, come join us for our next Community Event, sponsored by Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, next week on Tuesday, March 25th at 10:00a PDT / 1p EDT, where we'll cover all things Legal in Climate. We’ll discuss a broad range of questions across formation, structuring, financing agreements, customer contracts and common legal issues. And as always, there'll be a ton of time for Q&A. The event will feature Yael Li-Ran Perl of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, Sonam Velani of Streetlife Ventures, yours truly Dimitry Gershenson at Enduring Planet, and will be moderated by the amazing Hannah Friedman of Mark1/Planeteer Capital. Come one, come all!

Utilities are increasingly buying what climate startups are selling – but early-stage companies often struggle to break in to this market and convince their investors that the juice is worth the squeeze. To understand how climate startups can up their "utility game", we sat down with Grace Penders of Equal Ventures for this week's Insight, to dig deep into what utilities are looking for and the tried and tested practices to make them your customer. Check it out!

Climate Entrepreneurs impacted by the Trump Administration, do you need working capital? I'm excited to share something we've been quietly building for the last few weeks: the Enduring Climate Relief Fund!! First, some context: as federal climate funding faces freezes or potential terminations under the Trump administration, many climate-focused companies—particularly those with significant Federal contracts or grants—are at risk of severe cash flow disruptions. And we want to help! So, our team at Enduring Planet is building the Enduring Climate Relief Fund to provide critical and patient working capital to these companies, helping to ensure they can weather funding uncertainty, continue operations, and maintain momentum. The fund will be calibrated to provide concessional financing to these companies, ensuring they can deliver on their climate objectives unimpeded. It's still early days, but we're starting to build a database of folks who may be interested in capital in the next 6-24 months to navigate difficulties posed by the Trump Administration's current (or future) actions. If you're looking for a patient working capital solution to weather the storm, please fill out the jotform below and we'll be in touch as the fund goes live. NOTE: Our aim is to help, but keep in mind that a submission here does NOT guarantee funding from Enduring Planet. The information provided in this communication is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an offer or solicitation to provide financial services or products.
