The Brazilian National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) recently launched a new webpage for the Environmental Database (BDA) Netuno, a partnership between ANP and the Brazilian Institute of Environmental and Renewable Natural Resources (Ibama). Netuno is a database that provides public environmental data from seismic survey projects. The data, uploaded by members, is collected during offshore seismic surveys in Brazil. Gathering and providing this information has been a permit condition since 2018. EnerGeo supports Netuno participants and IBAMA by designing new features that can broaden its reach, to facilitate the regulator’s decisions and members’ environmental project management and compliance.
