Energy Recovery's Field Service Engineer, Luis Alonso, provided hands-on training with the PX Q300 at the San Quintin site for BerryMex in Baja California, Mexico. A family-owned agricultural company based in Mexico, Berrymex relies on clean, energy-efficient water sources to grow quality berries, utilizing the PX to ensure the plant is running sustainably while reducing energy consumption.

Energy Recovery is proud to have supplied LP PX pressure exchangers for the Ipsach treatment plant in Biel, Switzerland! Installed in the reverse osmosis stage of the plant, each pressure exchanger transfers 6 kW of hydraulic power, helping the facility dramatically lower energy consumption. The Ipsach plant will have 16 low-pressure PXs in its final configuration.

The Atacama Desalination Plant in Chile is one of the country's largest seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) plants. To optimize efficiency and reduce energy consumption, the plant designers chose to incorporate 10 PX Q300 devices in each production line, helping save an estimated 29.1 GWh of energy annually.    Energy Recovery is proud to contribute to this project in collaboration with GS Inima Environment, Econssa Chile S.A., and Aguas Nuevas S.A. We are proud to announce today that we have signed contracts to supply our PX energy recovery devices to SWRO projects in Morocco totaling $27.5 million. Morocco is facing a years long drought that drained the country’s reservoirs to 25% full earlier this year. When completed, these projects will supply over one million cubic meters per day of potable water for municipal and agricultural use – enough water for more than 600,000 Moroccans. https://lnkd.in/gVGhMvju
