Axiom Space is a premier example - breaking ground in the #spaceflight industry time and time again. In 2022, the company launched its first commercial astronauts into orbit. They plan human spaceflights for both government-funded and commercial astronauts participating in in-space research, in-space #manufacturing and space exploration. Now, they are focused on building and operating the universe’s first (known 😉) commercial space station. This month, Maximo Ibarra, global CEO of the Engineering Group, traveled together with our North American leadership team to Axiom Space in Texas. They met with Walter Villadei, #Ax3 astronaut, colonel in the Italian Air Force and currently the head of ItAF’s representative office in the U.S., overseeing commercial spaceflight initiatives. They received a private tour led by Ricky Villarreal, JD of the Axiom Space Station Development Facility, where the design and construction of the new commercial space station is underway. Finally, they met with Branden Ramsey and Axiom Space’s #digitaltransformation team, discussing our ongoing collaboration and the solutions we are delivering to help Axiom Space achieve their out-of-this-world vision.
