Join us in celebrating National Community Health Worker Awareness Week (NCHWAW) from August 24-30, 2024! Enlace trains and employs community leaders as Community Health Workers (CHWs), or Promotorxs de Salud. The 2024 Little Village-South Lawndale Quality of Life Plan was unveiling yesterday! Big thanks to the Steering Committee members: Beyond the Ball , Central States SER - Jobs for Progress, Inc., El Valor , Enlace Chicago, Erie Neighborhood House, Erikson Institute, Esperanza Health Centers, Instituto del Progreso Latino, Latinos Progresando, Little Village Chamber of Commerce - La Camara de Comercio de La Villita, National Museum of Mexican Art/Yollocalli, New Life Centers, OPEN Center for the Arts, Richard J. Daley College - Arturo Velasquez Institute, Sinai Chicago, Telpochcalli Community Education Project - Tcep, Alderperson Michael D. Rodriguez, LISC Chicago, McCormick Foundation, and United Way of Metro Chicago.
