#Collaboration and #teamwork are at the heart of everything we do. We are thrilled to see our experts strengthening connections and sharing moments that drive innovation and success across all our projects.
What an incredible experience it was to return to the MBH Architects headquarters in the Bay Area last month! After working closely with the team remotely for some time, reconnecting in person was truly rewarding. During the visit, we engaged in a series of productive workshops, design reviews, and collaborative meetings focused on optimizing our retail projects. These sessions gave us the chance to dive deeper into our strategies, and refine our design processes in real-time. The level of collaboration and creativity that emerged from these discussions was remarkable and will undoubtedly elevate the work we produce together. The warmth, talent, and collaboration of this group made the trip unforgettable. It was inspiring to work, learn, and share moments with such a dedicated team, all while strengthening our bond and improving our production processes. This experience has left me deeply grateful and energized. I feel truly honored to be part of the MBH Architects team and privileged to represent Ensemble during this collaboration. I look forward to what we will achieve together moving forward! #BIMArchitecture #DesignCollaboration #ArchitecturalInnovation

Ensemble was born out of a drive to be global minded and to ensure that we take part in key #globalevents & shows that shape the very design culture we passionately deliver everyday. This year we have attended NEOCON, ICFF, Salone del Mobile and just recently ABIMAD - Associação Brasileira das Indústrias de Móveis de Alta Decoração & HOTEX in #SaoPaulo Brasil. Anyone who attended ICFF NY and Salone in Milan had to take note that the Brazil furnishing industry is making big statements with furniture, décor and art that is capturing the hearts of designers worldwide. Just like the global brand phenom FARM, the look and feel of Brasil is like none other. We hope you will enjoy a brief overview of some of our show favorites and fitting within our overarching global trends our CCO, Sharon Lessard, RDI, IIDA Industry has been sharing with key clients and collaborative partners. Want to know more or talk to us about your design needs? Email us at Hello@go-ensemble.com and we’ll set up a trend overview for your team.

One of the best aspects of being a global A+D firm is coming across brands that outside of their native city or country aren’t on our radar. Yet, deserve both notice and commentary. WeCoffee is an Asian-influenced coffee shop founded in Brazil with 8 locations. It's reported that the ever popular chain in #SaoPaulo serves 100,000 customers per month with innovative coffee drinks and an inspiring assortment of bakery items to temp anyone. The entremets are shaped like little animals and fruits. Brian Dyches visited its latest flagship at Morumbi Shopping, one of the key shopping centers in the mega-city. The minimalist design is anchored by a compelling digital LED screen that reaches into the mall common area and compels you inward. Its so-called golden elephant, which serves as its now iconic icon, tells you that in the land of coffee this is not going to be another typical experience. The #customerjourney starts with self-service kiosks and then you make your way to the rear where a digital screen shows your order in the queue and where to pick up in cleaver ‘locker-like’ boxes to fulfill your experience. Seating is plentiful and there are even two private areas you can reserve for you and your best friends to enjoy a break from all the shopping. "I’ve seen a lot of coffee shops but I have to say that the design is highly appealing in the age of designed food experiences countered against the very overused wood theme the competition can’t seem to escape." Ensemble suggests you follow and if you find yourself in Sao Paulo visit the various locations to discover the beautiful adaptation each neighborhood gets to call its on. We tip our design hats to fellow architects ENTRE Arquitetos, Pitá Arquitetura and BYN Studio involved in some of the projects. IG: @wecoffee.br https://lnkd.in/ddmGtyb6 #retaildesign

#BuenosAires and #Cordoba Argentina are key offices that enable our Global Pricing advantages that we share with our clients. Delivering expertise and financial impact is a key foundation of Ensemble’s path to excellence in A+D. In a recent visit by CEO Brian Dyches I had time to spend with our B.A. teams and Global Ops Director, Blas Isaguirres. B.A. is a super creative city full of great architecture, parks, restaurants and is a backdrop to our creative force partners Gabriela Jagodnik and Ramiro Veiga who joined us to discuss future growth of our global services. We invite all of our clients to come visit us and to see why Buenos Aires is a key part of the Ensemble network. #retaildesign

Big news in the Los Angeles 'retail scene' when you read that #FredSegal is closing after 63-years in business. It opened the year I was born and when I left So. Carolina to move to California in the 80's it became one of my favorite stores to check out. Why? It's merchandise mix defined the California lifestyle that in the day was only found in So Cal with its rich mix of manufacturers and style makers. It was the true definition of an upscale speciality store that cared about visual merchandising, signage and customer journey. All the things that in time became the root of so many national and global retailers. It's always a loss when a pioneer brand shutters its doors but anyone who visited its locations knows why it stood out. A problem that so much retail has today is a unique offer and great merchants. I'm afraid so much of the sameness amongst boring locations is what keeps conspiring to witness icons failing. I know that the Fred Segal Home Furnishings store will remain in Culver City and there is hope the brand can be revived but it'll take going back to the 101 of what makes retail work in the first place.....an inspired 'merchant to run the place'. For today #RIP #FredSegal
