Jonathan Skovholt and team have found a great way to stay social and involved with each other!
We’ve come up with a fun way for team building at the Ensemble IP Search Team despite everyone in the team working remotely – the Search Team Movie Club. Every 4-6 weeks we watch a movie picked by a member of the team which is followed up by a lively group discussion. It’s complicated how the movies are chosen (who could have predicted that scientists and engineers would way over engineer the process), but in a gist the movies are new to most team members and suggested by the team members. A recap of 2023 included a silent movie, subtitles, stop motion special effects, some nostalgia, and excellent acting. Here’s the full list in order of release date. - City Lights (1931) - The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958) - Serpico (1973) - Three Days of the Condor (1975) - The Goonies (1985) - Leon: The Professional (1994) - The Master (2012) - Andhadhun (2018) All-in-all, it’s a great way to get to know one another while having fun.
