Creating better experiences for how the world moves.
About us
At Enterprise Mobility™ we are paving a new way forward by creating better experiences for how we move. We give people around the world the ability to connect in ways that suit their unique needs. It’s a bold idea that has defined our purpose-led, people-first organization for over 65 years, and it’s one that we continue to strive toward with every journey. Through our trusted brands and our portfolio of offerings, we aim to reach the highest levels of customer service with each interaction. And we invest in — and care about — each other, our communities and every journey. It’s a point of pride and distinction, rooted in our origins. It’s how we grew from a pioneer with a fleet of seven cars to a global mobility leader with more than 90,000 team members around the world. And it’s what will continue to drive the future of the organization and mobility itself. Over the years, we’ve learned moving forward isn’t a simple matter of going from point A to B. Today, mobility is the movement of people and goods. It goes beyond the vehicles we drive to encompass an integrated way of travel that meets every individual’s unique needs and preferences. That is why it’s our vision to be the world’s best and most trusted mobility company. As mobility continues to evolve, we'll continue to innovate to work toward a reimagined mobility future that is more accessible, efficient and sustainable for all.

Does the idea of driving an electric vehicle spark your excitement — or your anxiety? If it’s the latter, you’re not alone. Infrastructure support for EVs is still lagging behind consumer demand, leading some drivers to feel so-called “infrastructure anxiety.” According to our "On the Move" mobility survey, 51% of respondents in the UK believe the EV charging network is growing too slowly. But their enthusiasm for the tech isn’t running low. Motivators like environmental benefits and cost savings lead half of respondents to say they’d likely drive an electric vehicle in the future. At Enterprise Mobility, we believe great leaders are made – and this starts with the Management Training Program, which provides opportunities to gain hands-on experience across all facets of the organization. And we don’t stop there. With our promote-from-within culture, Enterprise Mobility offers team members the opportunity to change careers without changing companies. Our CEO Chrissy Taylor recently shared with Fortune how she began her career journey. Make moves that move the world.™ #IWork4EM
“It’s like getting your MBA on the job.” Enterprise President and CEO Chrissy Taylor tells #COOSummit that her company is focused on promoting talent from within. "I started as an intern during college...and became a full-time management trainee," she said. "95% of our management team has actually come through the management training program." She added: "We view our employees as an investment." Learn more: https://trib.al/VylYKpS

At Enterprise Mobility, our customers and team members come first — a philosophy that extends throughout every area of our global organization. In a recent Forbes article, our CIO Shane Behl shared his people-oriented approach to deploying new technology, which enables a more seamless, personalized and efficient experience for everyone. Read more below.
In my 24 years with Enterprise Mobility, I’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact that technology has on the journeys we take every day. With new tools and devices constantly available, the challenge for IT departments is not a lack of options but knowing where to begin. The best advice that I can give is this: the most successful digital transformation initiatives consider the impact on people. If a new technology does not solve or address points of friction for customers and employees, then it is not a worthwhile pursuit…no matter how trendy or flashy its capabilities are. Thank you Forbes Technology Council for allowing me to share my thoughts on this important topic. You can read my article at the link below, and I welcome all thoughts in the comments.
