Thank you to all who attended our Women Techpreneurs Innovation Event hosted at Northwood yesterday. I'm thrilled to share that I had the incredible opportunity to facilitate a panel discussion with an amazing group of Women TechPreneurs from the Great Lakes Bay region at yesterday's Women TechPreneurs - Innovation Event. This Midland Business Alliance event, hosted in partnership with the MCWT, was a celebration of the ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit of women in technology. The MCWT’s Women TechPreneurs initiative aims to provide a comprehensive support system for women in tech entrepreneurship, offering the necessary skills, resources, and networks to excel in Michigan’s competitive technology sector. The event was open to the public, including high school and college students, fostering an environment of learning and inspiration. The panel featured: Rebecca Cox from The Savant Group LeeAnn Keller (Rouse) from OmniTech International, Ltd. Tracy Quinlan from MiTCON, LLC Tina McCormick from Enterprise Tax Solutions, Inc. Lisa Ferden from Generations Homecare Software Together, we delved into their TechPreneur journeys, discussing mentorships, essential skill sets, factors for success, and how we can inspire the next generation. It was an enlightening experience to learn more about these women, their businesses, and their visions for the future of women in technology.
