Wake up, do 5-min meditation, engage in some stretches, make a cuppa coffee, benchpress your enemy's weight, burn sage, do some journaling, intake omega 3, visit the Envio explorer...
...AND SEE AN INDEXER SINGLE-HANDEDLY INDEX DATA 40 CHAINS!!!
Jokes aside, a very proud moment!
Huh?
For context:
The rise in the no. of Layer 2 chains (Ethereum scaling solutions) -> Fragments liquidity & users -> Provides terrible UX (e.g switching between networks, bridging, etc.) -> Apps still deploy on multiple chains to grab more liquidity and users -> Data is also now fragmented and increase infra management for Apps-> Apps struggle to have a unified view of their data and are focusing more on their infra than their users -> Envio helps unify data for these apps while simplifying infra management and reducing costs
With Envio, you can deploy a single indexer, and query all your cross-chain data with a unified API. Our competitor (who were the first movers in the space), you still need to deploy a separate indexer (therefore query separate API) per chain deployment.
Not only that, but the rise of Layer 2's and Ethereum introducing blobs, have reduced gas (transaction costs) to all-time lows. This will exacerbate the data problem, i.e. bringing gas costs down -> barriers to transact lower -> adoption increases = amount of transactions increases = amount of data increases.
Envio to date is also the fastest data indexer for retrieving blockchain data (until proven otherwise). Our last year's October benchmark, showed that we are 104x faster than our largest competitor. Excited for this year's benchmarks!
We are starting to see the hard work pay off with our latest integrations and the bigger apps starting to take notice.
The best part? Building relationships with apps across all verticals from DeFi, Infra, Social, Gaming, Reputations, Wallets, Bridges and a lot more and supporting their visions comes to life.
