Throwback Thursday to 2017 near Silverton, CO, when ER utilized llamas to carry communications equipment to the top of a mountain. The llamas were rented to transport a permanent fixture that allows for better 2-way radio transmission to the mountain’s peak.

To make the most of your holiday, here are some safety tips for your celebrations: Remember to leave the fireworks to the professionals. Every year, thousands of people are injured, and an average of 12 people are killed on July 4th annually as a result of fireworks. If your weekend plans involve boating or other activities in or around a lake or ocean, don’t drink and boat. Make sure someone is the designated driver. And, of course, always wear sunscreen! As beneficial as some sunshine can be, too many harmful UV rays can damage your skin.
