I’m very pleased to share that Jonathan Katz has rejoined Envision Healthcare! Dr. Katz is our first ever Senior Vice President of Practice Excellence– a role which is perfectly suited for his skills and experience. Under his guidance he will partner with teams across the organization to ensure our clinicians continue to thrive and enhance the value we provide our hospital partners and patients every day. Welcome back Dr. Katz!

I’m thrilled to announce that Virgil Moore III has joined the Envision Healthcare team as our new VP of Business Development for Anesthesiology. With his extensive background in healthcare sales and leadership, Virgil will play a key role in driving growth and strengthening our partnerships with hospital systems nationwide. His expertise will help showcase the exceptional value our clinicians bring to patient care. I look forward to collaborating with Virgil as he builds impactful relationships and enhances our presence in the market!

Over the course of this week, Envision has joined medical professionals across the country celebrating and appreciating Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).  It is important to me that we take time to celebrate APPs, create awareness of their work and highlight the value they provide as part of the team. This recognition is personal to me.  As a physician, I still get to engage in clinical work with both CRNAs and CAAs on a regular basis.  And now as a clinical leader, their work helps inform the decisions that I make every day.   This year the theme for the week is “Innovative, Elevate, Celebrate: The Power of APPs!”  That theme perfectly reflects the amazing things that I’ve seen and continue to see our colleagues do for our patients.   I ask you to join me in thanking our amazing APPs for their dedication to excellent patient care, innovation, and teamwork with their peers and their tireless work.
