Our Envu U.S. Ornamentals team recently attended the annual Cultivate’24 green industry event in Columbus, Ohio. From enlightening keynote addresses by industry pioneers to engaging workshops and networking opportunities, Cultivate plays a crucial role in shaping the future of #horticulture. It is a key event for growers, suppliers, researchers and advocates committed to advancing #ornamentals and sustainable practices.   At this year’s event, we had the special opportunity to hear from the newest addition to our #Envu Green Solutions Team, Janna Beckerman, Ph.D. She took center stage to lead two sessions titled “Fungicide Application Basics” and “Disease Updates” respectively, where she discussed essential techniques, strategies and best practices to maximize the effectiveness of fungicide applications. Beckerman recently joined Envu after previously serving as a professor and extension specialist at Purdue University for 20 years and University of Minnesota for four years.   At Envu, we take pride not only in participating in Cultivate and leveraging this great opportunity to engage with and learn from customers, but also in showcasing our innovative solutions and the expertise of our team. Our Green Solutions Team empowers growers by translating cutting-edge research into practical, real-world strategies for helping growers solve their greatest challenges.    A big thank you to all of our customers and booth visitors who stopped by and engaged in the Envu sessions. And a special thank you to Peter Farno, Edgar Tuna, Bob Froelich, Brian McCaffrey, Julie (Hines) Groce, Odile MORDANT, Chad Noyes, Mark BrothertonSteven Larson and Rachel Harrison who all made our involvement in this important industry event a success. We look forward to continuing to grow our relationships and support customers in this special industry! We believe beautiful environments have the power to improve the health of society, which is why Envu partners with growers to limit the weeds, insects and diseases that hinder the growth of plants and flowers. So together, we can Be a Force With Nature.

Welcome to our latest series, “Innovation Behind the Scenes,” where we’ll be taking you behind the curtain with our #Envu innovation team! 🧪🎬 In this first chapter, Monika Ballmann, Ph.D., formulation development manager, discusses her work in developing new solutions across our Professional Pest Management, Mosquito Management, and Lawn & Landscape business segments. Monika explains that an active ingredient's potential is realized through the final formulation. So, our Envu scientists work to develop formulations with additional benefits like strengthening the UV stability, rain resistance and longevity of an active ingredient, increasing its overall efficacy and thereby reducing the amount of #activeingredient needed. The role of a #formulationscientist at Envu is versatile and challenging and takes out-of-the-box thinking, which is why we are honored to have passionate forward-thinkers like Monika who share our commitment to continuous innovation. As part of our ESG commitment, we aim to create healthier environments for all the communities we serve by preventing the spread of disease, protecting essential infrastructure, safeguarding our food supply and maintaining healthy green spaces — actions our Envu scientists play an integral role in achieving and innovating. Together, we look forward to creating a world where society and nature can both thrive.

We are proud to share today with our partners and stakeholders that our first Sustainability Report for the fiscal year of 2023 is now publicly available on our global website. It marks the first year of our #sustainability strategy as a company.   At #Envu, we believe that ensuring longevity requires a different perspective. To solve some of the biggest challenges our customers, communities and society face, our focus must be on the future of our environments. That focus requires us to have boots on the ground alongside our customers to identify and understand challenges through their eyes. As a business, we see environments from micro to macro and have a deep understanding of how to help them flourish. We pair this point of view with a laser-sharp industry focus. This deep expertise and care for our customers and stakeholders combine to create two invaluable results: trust and impact… Trust that we can identify the issues at hand and create lasting, sustainable solutions. And impact for the customers we serve, the communities we live and work in, and the environments that - without proper care and urgent attention - face serious risks. As leaders in this industry and members of the communities we serve, envisioning a more sustainable future is only the beginning. We strive to lead the way toward that future because the challenges we solve today ensure a healthy future for all.   “Since we became a stand-alone company in October of 2022, we have documented our aspirations and ambitions to make a positive impact on society and nature including through our products and services,” said Gilles Galliou, CEO. “And now, through this report, we are highlighting successes, charting the path forward and outlining the important work that lies ahead.”   Our sustainability journey is one of partnership; if you wish to be part of our next set of stakeholder interviews, and build together initiatives advancing our journey forward, feel free to contact our Head of ESG, Marine Sanouiller at marine.sanouiller@envu.com.   The full report is available at https://lnkd.in/eDuFwbZd

Our Envu ANZ team recently had the opportunity to attend The Australian Sports Turf Managers Association's Conference & Trade Exhibition in Brisbane, Queensland. As the largest event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, it was an incredibly valuable experience that brought together hundreds of #sportsturf management professionals from across the world. The four-day event offered a wealth of education and showcased the latest in #turfmanagement machinery, equipment, research, technology and products. Highlights included: ☑ Educational Workshops and Seminars: Sessions covered essential management and leadership skills alongside new technology and maintenance practices. These sessions, hosted by leading Australian and international presenters, provided attendees with the knowledge they need to both advance their careers and enhance their facilities. ☑ National Turf Industry Awards Dinner: The event kicked off with the prestigious awards dinner, where we were proud to sponsor the 2024 ASTMA Excellence in Golf Course Management Award. Congratulations to this year’s award recipient, Tom Tristram from Secret Harbour Golf Links, Western Australia. Under his leadership, Secret Harbour has flourished, with significant improvements in course playability, major machinery upgrades and a thriving maintenance team. Tom, we look forward to seeing how your innovative approach will set new benchmarks for the industry. ☑ Interactive Technical Workshop: Our very own Jyri Kaapro, senior development specialist, joined Dr. Jay McCurdy for an engaging discussion on developing management programs for weeds in warm-season grasses, including preemergence and postemergence options. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth and participated in our sessions. And a special thank you to the whole Envu ANZ sports turf team — Rachel C., Craig Burleigh, Amy Kernke, Jyri Kaapro, Scott Wallis, Dave Hurst and Martyna Synak — who all played  integral roles in bringing the booth and conference concept from idea to life. And last but not least, thank you to James Royal and Colin Mumford from our #Envu community for joining us this year in Brisbane! To deliver excellent and consistent playability, turf must be able to withstand whatever nature throws at it. That’s why we partner with sports turf managers, greens keepers and #golfcourse superintendents to protect their turf and enhance its resilience. Events like #ASTMA24 allow us to connect, learn and advance from the best in the industry, ensuring we continue to bring game-changing solutions to the industry. Today, we are present in 30% of golf courses and protect over 130,000 hectares of green spaces across the globe. Because to create healthier environments in which nature and humanity can both thrive, we must Be a Force With Nature.

Envu was honored to be the exclusive manufacturer sponsor of fungicides, insecticides, herbicides and nematicides at the 2024 U.S. Senior Open held last week at the historic Newport Country Club. As a company committed to innovative environmental solutions, we are proud of the role we played in ensuring the course’s optimal playability and the success of this prestigious tournament. ⛳ Founded in 1893 and redesigned by the legendary A. W. Tillinghast, Newport Country Club is a gem of golf history. The course’s unique challenges, including non-irrigated fairways, cooler ground temperatures and higher air salinity, require top-tier #turfmanagement. And to keep golf courses playing their best, it takes a trusted partner. In addition to supporting the tournament’s volunteer program, #Envu hosted an educational event for volunteers on the opening day. “While spectators focused on the golfers and the pristine turfgrass, our priority was the volunteers,” said James Hempfling, Ph.D., Green Solutions Team specialist. “Investing in volunteer education is our way to give back, help turfgrass professionals advance in their careers and strengthen the green industry, ensuring the continued growth of the game of golf.” Newport Country Club's golf course superintendent, Chris Coen, has spent decades overseeding with 25% bentgrass and 75% chewings fescue and using smart cultural practices to help the turf withstand the stressors of annual diseases (like snow mold), summer heat and heavy foot traffic during peak playing events. And Envu products played a crucial role in addressing these challenges, with select solutions available globally. Be sure to check your respective country’s page on Envu.com for product offerings in your region. Here’s a glimpse into Newport Country Club’s Envu product portfolio to ensure its course is always game-time ready: ✅ Stressgard® brand fungicides: Reduce localized dry spots, manage wilt and enable lower cutting heights, keeping the turf resilient even under heat stress. ✅ Tartan® Stressgard® fungicide: Essential for managing gray leaf spot and heat stress on perennial ryegrass fairways. ✅ Fiata® Stressgard® fungicide: Used as a tank-mix partner, ensuring comprehensive stress management. ✅ Interface® Stressgard® fungicide: Trusted for snow mold control. ✅ Indemnify® insecticide: A game changer for nematode management. A huge thank you to all the volunteers, participants and spectators for making the 2024 U.S. Senior Open a success. And to Chris Coen and the whole Newport Country Club team, it was our great honor to take part in this distinguished event and help you deliver excellent, consistent playability for this year’s athletes. Thank you for putting your trust in Envu. Together, we look forward to delivering excellence, many more shared championships, and continued innovation to help grow the game of #golf globally for years to come!

Envu is committed to creating a diverse, safe and inclusive environment for all people to thrive without fear of discrimination. It’s why ensuring a safe and inclusive workplace is one of our core ESG pillars. Pride Month is a special time as we celebrate and support our LGBT+ community. We are marking the occasion by hosting colorful breakfasts in key offices with desserts and speeches from LGBT+ employees and allies as well as decorating offices with Pride-themed artwork and encouraging employees to wear Pride colors to demonstrate support. Current statistics show substantial patterns in the LGBT+ professional demographic. Openly LGBT+ professionals have grown from 5% in Generation X (1965-1980) to over 20% in Generation Z (1997-2004). These individuals are or will shortly be part of our workforce. Senior professionals, however, often come from generations when LGBT+ topics weren't as openly addressed, suggesting a possible cultural conflict. Therefore, creating inclusive policies is vital for attracting and retaining the best talent. Through ongoing education, continuous learning and partnership with our D.R.I.V.E. LGBT+ employee resource group, #Envu is fostering a more aware and inclusive workplace culture. Here’s how we’re supporting this important group’s efforts: - Offering training for all employees, especially leaders, on LGBT+ issues and effective allyship. - Encouraging senior leaders to be more active in participating in LGBT+ events and initiatives. - Promoting an inclusive culture through regular communications, events and recognition of LGBT+ contributions. - Sponsoring D.R.I.V.E. LGBT+ initiatives. - Inspiring hope and positivity through companywide initiatives led by our executives. The core of our culture is rooted in #inclusion and #diversity. On International LGBT+ Pride Day – and every day - Envu is proud to be a company where we encourage and celebrate people being their authentic selves, enabling them to harness their full passion, skills and expertise toward advancing healthy environments for everyone, everywhere.
