After plans for a large life sciences campus in Downtown Atlanta fell through, the owner of the 10-acre site, Russell McCall, is now seeking a new developer with vision. McCall had previously sold the land to Jae Kim's Urbantec Development Partners for $26.1 million, but Kim defaulted on the loans, leading McCall to reclaim the property via foreclosure in March 2023. The site, once home to McCall's Gourmet Foods International, is being marketed as Artisan Yards, with early interest from developers looking to pursue similar life sciences projects. CBRE released its Q2 report for the Atlanta Commercial Real Estate market just a few weeks ago.
