For the guys that love exploration and adventure, we have two lesser known varietals perfect for their palates! Well-loved by Ernest, Petite Arvine and Trousseau now sporting the Ernest Label.🍷

Alder Springs Vineyard is known for producing exceptional fruit, specifically focusing on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and some of the lesser known varietals like our Petite Arvine and Trousseau. Just 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean, the elevation ranges from 1,700 to 2,700 feet. Our rows are in transition to becoming organically farmed in this high altitude coastal vineyard.

Sonoma County Vintners (SCV) International Members participated in ProWein on March 10-12. Over 40,000 trade visitors from 135 countries attended the trade event in Dusseldorf, Germany. In partnership with the California Wine Institute, SCV returned to ProWein with a new booth space within the California Pavilion. SCV collaborated with five Sonoma County wineries who attended the trade show - Aperture Cellars, Cobb Wines, Emeritus Vineyards, Ernest Vineyards LLC, and Schug Carneros Estate Winery. These vintners represented Sonoma County by pouring behind the shared bar and also conducted business meetings with existing and potential importers. New this year! SCV activated a larger booth with impactful Sonoma County branding and a Discover Sonoma County Self-Pour Exhibit, featuring seven Sonoma County brands and 17 different wines. One of our SCV representatives managed the self-pour bar, giving vintners an opportunity to showcase their wines internationally without attending in-person. Sonoma County was also the featured region for the Sunday evening German Sommelier Association ProWein Apero tasting, attracting 200+ guests. Our Estate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are anchored in the heart of the Freestone Valley, an area deeply defined by the extreme cold temperatures and blanketing fog from the chilly Pacific Ocean. The challenging growing conditions reward with wines of structure and restraint. These wines represent a central selection in our portfolio where they have more structure usually associated with aging, yet are engaging when young.🍷
