Which Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) method can recover up to 25% of Original Oil In Place (OOIP)? As part of our EOR Methods Head-To-Head, we evaluated four methods to see which ones were most likely to meet a threshold of 25% OOIP. Beyond that, we also wanted to factor in the expense required to meet the OOIP goal, keeping an eye on the profitability and increased longevity of existing wells. In numerous tests, ESal has proven able to reach 25% OOIP, achieving up to 50% OOIP total recovery.
