When our employees start on a new project, we have a company protocol to walk them into the job site and make sure everyone's settled in before getting to work for the day. We want to make sure our employees are in the correct place, have the correct gear, and are on a first-name basis with their higher-ups. It's a personal touch that not many skilled trades staffing services offer. But we find that when we make personal introductions and put in some "face time", the overall success of the project is a better outcome. Here's our director of recruitment JR Manu at one of our job sites in Orange County where we're providing punch list specialists. 👊 #skilledtrades #staffing #construction #staffingagency

Don't settle for a punch list specialist that isn't just that - a specialist. I've seen too many projects arrive at the finish line but then fail to cross it because their punch list wasn't knocked out correctly. Here's why this person is essential to you successfully wrapping up your project before a final inspection 👇 ✅ Ensures Quality Control A punch list specialist meticulously checks every detail of the project to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications. This prevents any overlooked issues from affecting the final outcome. ✅ Identifies and Prioritizes Deficiencies They expertly identify and document any remaining defects or unfinished tasks. Therefore the project team can prioritize and address these issues efficiently before the final inspection. ✅ Streamlines Communication The specialist acts as a liaison between the construction team, subcontractors, and the client. Ensuring clear communication about what needs to be completed or corrected, can speed up the resolution process. Also, I just had to throw RayGun in there one more time. She's a legend. 🙌 Nik #punchlist #skilledtrades #construction

These are the real rockstars. 🤘 You know how we know? Here's the rave review they received from our client: "I just wanted to give you a call to let you know that the four guys you sent out with me to do the waste sort. Jeremiah Sonny Victor and Michael, they, I just wanna let you know they are all really awesome. We really appreciated all their positive attitude and work. And I, I just wanted to make sure they got a good review because they were excellent to work with." Wow. What a way to start the day. Team Essel doing good for the world and kicking butt at the same time! 👏 #environmental #wastemanagement #sustainable

Storms don't cause construction delays. Lack of preparation FOR those storms causes delays. Here's how one site lost weeks, while another barely lost a day. 👇 During the rainy season in California, two construction sites faced the same challenge: severe flooding. But the outcomes couldn’t have been more different. Site one showed up on Monday morning to a nightmare. Water was 3 to 4 feet high on every floor, and panic set in. The crew spent the first 40 minutes assessing the damage, scrambling to figure out what to do next. By midday, they started calling around for help, but it wasn’t until late in the day that they secured a company to bring in drying equipment. The catch? The equipment wouldn’t arrive until the middle of the next day. The result? Weeks of delays, subcontractors left waiting, and schedules thrown into chaos. Site two? A completely different story. The first person on-site wasn’t even the superintendent—it was the foreman. He saw the flooding, knew exactly what to do, and within two hours, machines were on-site, drying out the building. By the end of the day, work was back on track. The next day? Business as usual, with no time lost. What made the difference? Preparation. The superintendent at the second site had a moisture management plan in place, ready to go before the first drop of rain hit. It wasn’t about preventing the flood—it was about knowing how to respond when it happened. In the world of construction, it’s not the unexpected that derails a project; it’s being unprepared for the unexpected. One site lost half a day; the other lost weeks. The difference? A plan. Do you have plans in place for when these events inevitably occur? Nik #construction #skilledtrades #expecttheunexpected

Life on the road doesn't get much more real than this. Hotel breakfast with the crew before the sun's even up. These guys are the real heroes of the environmental industry. They're the ones working long hours in the elements making our world a better place. Their work allows us to create more sustainable practices that will, in turn, better our planet. Heavy material for a man digging into a Belgian waffle at 6am? 🧇 Nope. Not at all. #environmental #environmentalstaffing #workontheroad

Sood is my brother and my fixer since day one. From the start, our family mentality of helping each other has been our driving force. But when we faced our first major emergency response project, growing from 10 to 120 people in just 45 days, it was a real test. I was focused on keeping the client happy, but we had no one managing the operational chaos — payroll, timesheets, and more. I turned to Sood and said, “Dude, I don’t know what you’re doing, but I need you here. Just figure this out.” No explanations needed. Sood rolled up his sleeves, faced three to four weeks of intense pressure, and within a month, we were running smoothly. We went from struggling with payroll for 20 people to managing it for over 100 weekly. This shift gave us the bandwidth to take on more work and tell our clients, “We’re ready for more.” Sood, with his background in computer engineering, didn’t just solve our immediate problems—he looked ahead. His approach was about scaling efficiently, using technology to jump from 100 to 1,000, instead of just fixing today's issues. The true leaders understand the balance between short-term fixes and long-term solutions. Sood exemplifies this mindset, and it’s why we succeeded. I'm so glad to STILL have him on the E-Team! Nik

There's a lot of staffing agencies out there that will send out anyone to a job site with a pulse. And I wouldn't trust these workers with a butter knife much less a punch list. How can you call yourself a skilled trades staffing firm when the workers you're sending aren't ACTUALLY skilled? Spoiler Alert: You can't. 💁♂️ Every worker that steps foot on your site should be: ✅ Vetted ✅ Interviewed ✅ Hand-picked ✅ Experienced And if they're not, it's time to make some changes to your staffing needs. #skilledtrades #skilledlabor #staffing
